443 | [To John Temple]

    Province House Feb 15th. 1766

I have long ago applied both to the Council and the House of Representatives, that they would make some satisfaction to the Military Corps who did duty in the time of the troubles; and it has been refused. I shall lay your letter1 before the Council; & if they think it will be to any purpose to revive this Matter, I shall not be wanting on my part.

I am Sr your most obedient & most Humble servant

    The Honble The Survr. Genl.
