    Honoured Sir

    Your Honour hath been informed of the Act of the Corporation referring to Mr. Thomas Brattle to succeed in the Treasureship of the Colledge. These are to return unto you hearty thanks for your former care and service, and to desire you will please to deliver unto the said Mr. Thomas Brattle the Colledge Accounts and Books. We also pray you to favour your Successor with what advice may be for the advantage of the Colledge.
