398 Report of Trespassers, Merricaneag Neck

Dec. 6, 1732. Mr. John Higginson of Salem told me that about the year 1717 (as he thinks) John Sawyer, now of Falmouth, and John Marriner of Boston, trespassed on Merricaneag Neck, and that Jacob Collins, now of Lyn, and Samuel Proctor now of Falmouth imployed by Major Moodey as empowered by a Letter of Attorney from Harvard College to secure their interest in Merricaneag, informed against said trespassers, who thereupon paid for the foresaid trespasses they had committed.
