    This is to acknowledg the favour of yours dated November 1. I have per this conveyance wrote to Mr. President Wadsworth agreable to your Request Relateing to any Duplicates I may have sent of Books already furnisht to the Publick Library. Am Glad the french Books are found usefull, I thought and designed them as such. The Packett you Mention to the Edinburg Professors was dispatcht by Dr. Avery and I doubt not came safe thither. Most likely the Death of Proffessor Hamilton may have ocasioned that you have no reply. Your friend Mr. Oliver is voted a Member of the Corporation283 in the Room of his father and seems an obligeing senceible gentleman. I hope will prove a usefull ornament. My Cordiall Respects to Mr. Professor Greenwood and your self, wishing you extensive usefullness
