284 Corporation Vote

At a Corporation Meeting at Boston September 17th, 1723

    Voted

That Mr. Treasurer remit Twenty five pounds Sterling to be lodged in the hands of Mr. Richard Mico, merchant in London to be drawn out by Capt. John Tallamy of Bidiford in the County of Devon, or his order.

Corporation Papers. This meeting is not in Corporation Records, and so is not printed in CSM Publications xv and xvi. Richard Mico in 1718 succeeded his father, Joseph, as an agent of the College in England. Tallamy was probably trying to do something about the Doddridge bequest; see No. 199.
