431 President Wadsworth’s Note on Expenses

    [December 1 1735]

Inasmuch as the yearly income of that Farm at Kingstown at Narrhaganset, given by the Honorable Capt. Sewal to Harvard College, is to be given for the support of poor scholars; to me it seems reasonable, that College Treasury should be reimbursed it’s expences on said Farm, out of the Rents of it; before the Rents are given to poor Scholars.

    Benja. Wadsworth President

Agreement that the Coll[ege] shall be refunded their expenses upon Naraganset farm before any of the rents be expended for uses designed by the Honorable Donor.
