    I was favoured in due time with your agreable of the 9 July incloseing the Theses and Questions disputed att your last Years Comencements. I Return you thanks for so agreable an Amusement, and doubt not will in the event prove of reall use to your Country.

    I apprehend Mr. Professor Greenwoods design to carry on a Mathematicall and Philosophical Lecture in Vacation Time is verry subservient to the Honoured founders intention and has a Tendency to promote usefull Natural knowledg to the Glory of God and Benefitt of men.286

    Am gladd what I wrote to Mr. President Wadsworth is agreable and usefull to you, as heartily wishing your prosperity and usefulness. Please to present my service to Mr. Greenwood and accept the same yourself.
