    At a Church Meeting feb. 15th. 1776 voted

    Mr. Thomas Lancaster moderator for Said meeting

                 of Minis:ters and diligats

    Voted to Call in a Councell to Settel the Difficulties

    with Sume of the Church and Mr. John Blydenburgh

    and Take Theyr advis: voted Deacon Jewett Joseph Scott

    and Thomas Lancaster be a Committe To Treat with

    Mr. John Blydenburgh: and the meeting was adjorned

    to the Twenty Six Day of this Instant and to meet at

    one a Clock after noon acordingly met and voted

    To Dismis Mr. John Blydenburg and the meeting

    was Dismised.[38]

     

    At a meeting of the first Church

    in Rowley held April 13th 1778

    Mr. Thomas Lancaster was Chose Moderator

    Voted that Messrs Samuel Dresser and

    Eliphelet Jewett be a committee with

    the Parishs Committee to lease out the land

    the Chh owns with the Parish in the

    home stead. that was the late Revd.

    Mr. Jewetts for one year obliging they

    that hire the Same to pay all the taxes

    excepting the towns war tax maintain

    the fence and leave the Same at the

                    good as

    end of the year as he finds it
